Parks, Recreation and Community Education houses a variety of functions including recreational and educational programming, and parks and recreational facility maintenance.

The Recreation Center is home to many youth and adult invitational and state tournaments each year.

The space is also used for an indoor playground program, Junior Olympic Volleyball, and all of Hutchinson’s adult volleyball leagues. The facility can operate with four volleyball courts, two basketball courts or six pickleball courts. The gym space is also used to host birthday parties, fun runs hosted by the Hutchinson School District, and many practices are held throughout the year.

The Recreation Center is available for a variety of fun and enjoyable activities for people of all ages.

To enjoy any of these activities or to obtain additional Recreation Center information, please call 320.587.2975. Court reservations and private rentals must be made in advance during office hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Reservations for gym time are not taken online.

RENTAL RATES:

• Open Gym Pass: $45/10 visits
• Open Gym/Pickleball: $5/person
• Indoor Playground: $5/child or $7/family OR $75/Yearly Family Pass (October 1 – April 25)
• Private/Full Gym Rental: $50/hour
• Half Gym Rental: $25/hour
• Pickleball Court Rental: $15/hour
• Walking/Jogging: FREE
